A new door lock, Lockitron, is operated through an app, allowing the user to control who enters and leaves a house from any phone anywhere in the world. By inviting your family and friends through an email address or text message to enter, this incredible app also confirms whether or not the door is locked and if someone has returned home. There is even a sensor that notifies the user when someone knocks on the door. Owners of iPhones have an added advantage: the door unlocks as you approach it, thanks to integrated Bluetooth 4.0.
