Huge Garden at Champs-Élysées, Paris, France
8,000 plots of earth and 150,000 plants are currently installed amid sheep and cattle along the entirety of the worlds most beautiful avenue in Paris, France. Stretching all the way from the Place de La Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe, struggling French farmers seek to highlight the recently overlooked agricultural sector of French economy. According to an agriculturalist, the purpose of the installation is to "We are not here to bemoan our plight," he said. "We are here to promote our trade." The farmers wanted to make French consumers reflect on "what they have on their plates" and how it got there, he added."
