7 things BRAZIL is (now) famous for

1. Soccer
Brazil is well known for its soccer. Since the late 1990´s Brazilian soccer has been exported to many parts of the world. Milan, for example, has four Brazilian players, three of which are part of the national squad. There are also Brazilian players in the national squads of Germany (Cacau), Bulgaria, Poland, Bosnia amongst others. Ultimately, every international team has a Brazilian player. Plus, Brazil is the only nation to win the World Cup five times, consequently receiving a lot of world-wide publicity. Just so you have an idea, 40% of the world population watched at least one World Cup match.

Youtube’s most famous celebrity is Brazilian! Joe Penna, also known as Mystery Guitar Man, is originally from São Paulo. His videos are the best rated of all time, and his channel has more than 1 million followers! I have watched all of his videos and am a big fan of his. And... he always says something in Portuguese – sometimes a sentence or just a word.
