Take a Mind Trip
In the innovation labs of Freie Universität Berlin, scientists have been working on a car driven by mind commands. With new technology that is able to "read" a driver’s brain cells, driving becomes a relaxing and intriguing hands-free adventure. Through a brain-sensing cap, a program determines when a driver thinks “left,” “right,” "accelerate," or "brake." As it would be quite dangerous to test the sensor cap in a car, researchers created another program in which a person had to control a virtual cube. After much testing they finally took their innovation out on the road and had surprisingly good results. Check out the video and let’s all start counting down the days until we’re driving our way to work, getting a few extra minutes of rest as we let our cars take us away.
