A Little Bit of Graded in the National Federation of the Blind
Mauricio Almeida, a 2012 Graded graduate who now studies at Michigan State University, was elected vice-president of the Michigan Association of Blind Students, a proud affiliate of the National Association of the Blind. Needless to say, his work is an inspiration for many Graded students and for others outside of this community as well. The Globo website, known as "Portal Globo" or "G1," published an article about Mauricio's work and his role in his new home, Michigan.
