Wheels versus Graded Athletes
"I bet 10 bucks the guys in the wheelchairs will massacre our team," someone behind me screamed as the basketball match between Magic Hands and Graded's basketball varsity team was getting ready to start. I was excited. I had never seen a wheelchair basketball match, so I was amazed to see how there seemed no boundaries in the world of sports. This event not only gave another perspective to our athletes, but also to everyone that watched the game, as the Magic Hands basketball players fought really hard to get where they are right now. Because our knowledge of the Paralympic Games was limited, this event taught us a lot. Thanks to the PE department for bringing Magic Hands into our lives.
