Challenging Success?


In an assembly last month Mr. Fernandes presented statistics from an April survey that illustrated the perspective of Graded students on their academic lives. Although there were a few surprising numbers, when some students were asked about their reactions, they were mostly not surprised by the findings, particularly on the topic of sleep:

"I thought the data the school collected gave very important insight into kids' lives outside of school."
"Not much of the information was new. Anyone who has been in Graded since back in the day learns to get used to staying up late and not getting a lot of sleep."
"My reaction was 'Why are they showing this to us?' We already understand that we don't get enough sleep."
