Canadian artist Marney Ward once said, "The measure of the artist is to have the eye to see the spirit underlying the particulars." In other words, the artist is someone who can see the extraordinary in the ordinary. This is certainly true of a Hungarian artist known as cerkahegyzo, who carves intricate sculptures from lead pencils. It is just mind-boggling what he accomplishes in his free time.
